March 5 -- Bring a 1-slide, 2-min talk to class
March 12, 10:10 - 12:00 - Session Two: Building a Narrative
March 19, 10:10 - 12:00 - Session Three: Visual stories
March 26 -- Bring a figure you have designed to class
March 26, 10:10 - 12:00 - Session Four: Expect the Unexpected
March 27 (9 am) -- Submit your written proposal for grading
April 1 (5 pm) -- Submit your grades for all proposals; be prepared to present about the three proposals you were assigned as primary/secondary reviewer
April 2, 9:10 - 12:00 - Session Five: Bringing it all together + Proposal review
April 23, 10:10 - 13:00 - Session Six: Communication Celebration
April 23 -- Bring your final presentation to class!

Course Evaluation

15% = class participation

20% = written proposal (Due March 19)

15% = figure design project (Due March 26)

50% = final presentation (Due April 26)
